Ostara Spring Equinox Spells & Rituals March 20, 2016
Ostara is one of eight festivals on the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. Also known as the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, the hours of light and dark are equal and it is an ideal time for spells and rituals that promote balance in your life.
Ostara was the Goddess of Spring and many widespread traditions, such as spring cleaning and Easter celebrations with eggs, rabbits and hot crossed buns, are founded on ancient Pagan rituals.
The next full moon will occur three days after Ostara, on March 23rd.
