May 22 – June 21 ~Full Fire Moon in Sagittarius
On June 9, 2017, a full fire moon will appear in the sign of Sagittarius. This June full moon is known as Mead Moon, Strawberry Moon, Honey Moon or Rose Moon. In Wiccan traditions, this is an ideal time for spells to bring about success in learning and long-term travel. Healing, intuition and independence are also highlighted.
This full moon occurs at 9:09 AM EDT, so you may want to perform your rituals on the evening of June 8th. Because of the Super New or Dark Moon last month (May 25), this is known as a Micro Full Moon. However, there will still be ample energy for your spells and rituals!
You can use this full moon to cleanse and charge your Witches’ tools and herbes, to prepare them for your spellwork for Midsummer, or the Summer Solstice, on June 21st.
