On May 1st, Wiccans celebrate Beltane, one of eight festivals on the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. Beltane honours the goddess in her maiden aspect and is a traditional time for spells and rituals to bring love and creativity into your life.
You may perform your Beltane ceremony on either April 30, or May 1st. After your spellwork, enjoy a festival dinner of Pasta & Fresh Vegetables followed by Honey-Almond Pound Cake. Decorate your altar and table with daisies, roses and lily of the valley. Add red and green candles to symbolize the dual themes of love and creative energy.
