Ostara or Spring Equinox, is one of the eight festivals on the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. In 2019, it takes place at 5:58 PM ET on March 20 in the Northern hemisphere. In Pagan traditions, Ostara was the Goddess of Spring, representing all that is new and fresh. Many of our current customs, such as spring cleaning and Easter celebrations with eggs, rabbits and hot crossed buns, continue these ancient ways.
At the Spring Equinox, the hours of dark and light are equal, so it is an ideal time for spells and rituals that promote balance in your life.

OSTARA RITUAL
My Simple Wiccan Magick Wheel of the Year Guide has recipes for your celebration as well as a ritual to help you find balance in your life.
The Balancing Eggs Ritual is one of my favourite spells! It requires some advance preparation but you will use your intuition and the powerful colour correspondences of the chakras, to determine your strengths and weaknesses for the coming year. This spell can be done alone or in the company of like-minded people.
Blessed be and Happy Ostara!
